More than 30 cars have entered the UARA National Money in the Bank presented by Baker Auto Group at Berlin Raceway, scheduled for Wednesday, June 12.

Among those entries are two NASCAR Cup Series competitors, Erik Jones and Carson Hocevar. Jones won last year’s Money in the Bank 150, adding to his list of accomplishments at Berlin which include a pair of wins at the Battle of Berlin and an ARCA Menards Series victory.

Hocevar is a two-time Money in the Bank winner. Hocevar’s first Late Model wins came at Berlin at just 12 years of age in 2015, and he won the track’s Super Late Model title in 2017.

While the two NASCAR drivers with strong roots at Berlin will be among the favorites, there is plenty of solid competition around them on the lineup. Brian Campbell is also a two-time Money in the Bank winner, and Bubba Pollard won the inaugural running of the event in 2017.

Derek Kneeland, who spots for Kyle Busch in the NASCAR Cup Series, will also be making one of his select Late Model appearances at Money in the Bank. The Berlin mid-week events have become a staple of Kneeland’s Late Model schedule.

A strong contingent of Michigan Late Model competitors will be looking to keep the Money in the Bank trophy in the Wolverine State. Grand Rapids’ Andrew Scheid currently leads Berlin Super Late Model points standings, while Tyler Rycenga, Austin Hull and Evan Shtoko have gone to victory lane with the division so far in 2024.

The UARA National event will also once again draw Late Model stars from across the country to Berlin Raceway. Derek Griffith from New Hampshire, Michael Atwell and Tony Elrod from Florida, Levie Jones from Washington and Gavan Boschele from North Carolina are among the entries headed to Berlin.

While Katie Hettinger now calls Mooresville, North Carolina home, she originally hails from Dryden, Michigan.
