On Monday, Young’s Motorsports announced 19-year old Tate Fogleman as the driver of their No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado for the 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series season.

Fogleman takes over the truck that was piloted by Tyler Dippel a season ago.

“I am looking forward to getting back to work with the Young’s Motorsports guys,” said Fogleman in a team release. “I think we will be able to accomplish a lot this year. Chad (Kendrick), my crew chief, knows how driven I am to race and we are ready to tackle this season head-on. Huge thanks to my longtime sponsor Solid Rock Carriers for coming on board the truck this season. They have been supporting me since I started pro late model racing when I was 12, and I’m truly honored to have them on the truck. I am really grateful to Tyler Young and the Young family for their support and this opportunity.”

Fogleman is a thrid generation race car driver and his father Jay Fogleman is a former NASCAR Xfinity Series competitor.

Sponsorship for the effort will come from Solid Rock Carriers and Chad Kendrick will return to be the crew chief for the No. 02 truck in 2020.

Fogleman competed in three NASCAR Truck Series events during the 2018 season in the No. 20 for Young’s Motorsports. His best finish in that stretch was a 15th-place effort at Michigan International Speedway.
