Brand South Africa is set to partner with Anthony Alfredo and Young’s Motorsports for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at EchoPark Speedway, in a relationship that will bring along several industry-leading South African brands.

In Friday’s Focused Health 250, the No. 42 Chevrolet will have Brand South Africa featured prominently on the hood of the racecar, with six additional South African brands playing a role in the sponsorship.

Brooklyn Biltong, Superformance, 7th House, HERO, The International Rhino Foundation, and The Lekker Network will also be placed on board Alfredo’s No. 42 Chevrolet for the event.

“I am thrilled to head to EchoPark Speedway with Brand South Africa and Brooklyn Biltong,” said Anthony Alfredo. “It’s a really fun truck and one our team has had circled on the schedule because we know we can succeed there. I’m looking forward to racing at the front of the field with this great-looking racecar and contending for a win.”

Brand South Africa is a government agency charged with promoting the country’s image both locally and abroad, and views this NASCAR partnership as an opportunity to strengthen economic ties and introduce South African culture to a new audience.

The partnership also includes a special business roundtable on Friday at the Global Atlanta offices. There, South African business leaders, VIPs, and dignitaries will engage on South Africa as a trade partner and a foreign direct investment, celebrate international collaborations and explore future opportunities in motorsports and commerce.

“This weekend represents the culmination of seven years of collaboration with Brand South Africa across NASCAR,” said project coordinator Arnout Kok. “Now, with Young’s marking the first time a top-three NASCAR Series car is fully dedicated to promoting South Africa and its business community.”

The Focused Health 250 will take place on Friday, June 27 at 7:30 pm ET with coverage on The CW, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
