Alex Labbé, a long-time competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will compete in the inaugural NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Lime Rock Park on Saturday (June 28).

The 32-year-old driver will be joining forces with long-time NASCAR Truck Series team Reaume Brothers Racing for the event, getting behind the wheel of the No. 22 Ford F-150.

“I’m excited to make my [NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series] debut,” said Labbé in a team release. “Racing at Lime Rock will allow me to test my skills on a new course for the series against new drivers to me as well.”

Labbé is a veteran of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, having recorded 159 total starts in the second-tier series since 2016, and is the 2017 champion of the NASCAR Canada Series.

“RBR’s recent success on road courses and their road course program overall is exciting,” Labbe added. “I look forward to having the chance to see what we can do together as a team.”

The St. Albert, Quebec-native has put together impressive numbers on road courses in the second-tier series, collecting a career-best fourth-place finish for DGM Racing at Charlotte’s ROVAL in the Fall of 2020.

Of Labbe’s 13 top-10 finishes in the second-tier series, six of them have come on road courses, including a trio of top-six finishes at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL in a four-year stretch.

Labbe, a six-time winner in the NASCAR Canada Series, will be one of three drivers for Reaume Brothers Racing this coming weekend at Lime Rock Park.

William Lambros will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut in the No. 2 Skip Barber Racing School Ford F-150, while Hollywood actor Frankie Muniz will drive the No. 33 Ford F-150, as he has all season long.
