Video: Johnny Sauter and Trey Hutchens Survive Horrific Crash Late in Charlotte Truck Race

With 20 laps remaining in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway an absolutely violent crash occurred.

Trey Hutchens came to a near stop in his No. 14 truck coming down the front stretch, as Johnny Sauter approached, while battling Drew Dollar for position, Sauter had no clue Hutchens was there and he blasted the No. 14 truck at full speed.

Sauter’s truck had the entire side peeled off and the truck looked horribly damaged. Luckily, both drivers were able to climb from their obliterated race trucks.

Eventual race winner John Hunter Nemechek also suffered severe damage to the roof of his truck from debris from the accident.
