A strong night for Bret Holmes ends prematurely after a hard hit into the outside wall in Turn 3 of Friday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200.
Judging by the broadcast, it appeared that Holmes may have clipped the apron in turn three, sending him up into the wall.

The replay failed to capture what happened to Gray, but it’s likely that a sideways Holmes may have clipped the No. 15 truck.
WIth the DNF, Driver No. 32 records his second of the season in four starts.
