John Hunter Nemechek led a race-high 65 laps and scored the victory in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Cabo Wabo 250 at Michigan despite being involved in an early crash.

Following the race, Nemechek’s race-winning No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Supra SR passed post-race inspection. As a result, NASCAR declared Nemechek and his Joe Gibbs Racing team the official winners of the race.
