Wow. Carson Hocevar was very fortunate to not land on his roof in a wild crash at Lap 11 of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Cabo Wabo 250 at Michigan International Speedway.
At the start of the crash, it appeared Ty Gibbs got loose, at which point John Hunter Nemechek, who had his other Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Sammy Smith right behind him, made contact with Gibbs.
As Gibbs crashed, Nemechek and Smith spun to the inside of the track. Carson Hocevar attempted to split the gap between the No. 18 and No. 20 cars, but just collided with the No. 18 of Smith, which sent the driver of the No. 77 tipping, and nearly flipping over.

After the incident, Gibbs, and Nemechek would express frustration with each other on the race track. Gibbs was upset he was hit by Nemechek, while Nemechek was arguing that he was pushed into Gibbs by Smith.
GIBBS vs NEMECHEK!
The No. 19 is not happy whatsoever with his teammate after their contact and makes sure he knows it during the caution.#NASCAR pic.twitter.com/DfqUyAxmG7
