Inspection Complete: Christopher Bell Officially Sweeps Loudon Weekend

It’s unreal how good Christopher Bell is at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It doesn’t matter what style of car he drives there — NASCAR Cup, Xfinity or Craftsman Truck — and it turns out, it doesn’t even matter if he has to endure a two-plus hour rain delay or drive the final 82 laps on wet-weather tires.

He just wins at The Magic Mile, and he did it yet again in Sunday’s USA Today 301, which actually was extended to 305 laps due to an overtime finish.

Following his win, Bell’s race-winning No. 20 Rheem Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry made the customary trip through post-race inspection, where the car was given a passing grade. As a result, NASCAR declared Bell and his team as the official winners of the race.

This marks Bell’s third win of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, which ties him for the series lead, and it is the ninth win of his NASCAR Cup Series career. The win also is Bell’s second career Cup Series win at New Hampshire, and it is his seventh win in 10 NASCAR National Series starts at the facility.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Sunday’s USA Today 301 are now considered official.

Chase Briscoe finished the race in the runner-up position, 1.104 seconds behind Bell. Josh Berry, Kyle Larson, and Chris Buescher rounded out the top-five finishers.
