Video: Kyle Busch Done for Day After Crash Under Caution

Well, the horrendous day for Kyle Busch at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has officially come to an end. Busch recorded his third crash of the afternoon while under caution at Lap 223 of the 301 lap event.

As the field had bolted on wet-weather tires in anticipation of the restart of Sunday’s race, Busch found troubles navigating around the 1.058-mile track.

Busch appeared to be possibly weaving back and forth in the high line in Turns 3 and 4, and his car skidded hard right into the outside wall. After Busch pounded the wall, the car came to a stop on the frontstretch, and the driver climbed from the car.

The first incident of the day for Busch came at Lap 155 when he got into Noah Gragson in Turn 2, which sent him backing into the outside wall.

Busch then spun out on the backstretch on Lap 216, which brought out the caution that we were under when the rain came to send the race into a two hour and 14 minute delay.

The driver of the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro will be credited with a 35th-place finish, which marks his third 35th-place finish in his last four starts. Busch came into the day 31 points outside of the Playoffs cutline.
