Jordan Anderson Racing may be in the midst of the 2026 season, but the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series team is already making moves for the upcoming 2027 season. On Friday, in a press conference at Daytona International Speedway, the team welcomed Daniel Dye as its latest full-time driver.
Dye, 22, will pilot the organization’s No. 32 Chevrolet full-time in a multi-year contract beginning in 2027. Champion Container, Dye’s longtime sponsorship partner, will join him on the move to the Anderson team.
The young racer learned valuable life lessons in 2026, as his full-time opportunity with Kaulig Racing ended after he uttered a disappointing set of slurs on a Whatnot trading card stream.
Dye, who underwent sensitivity training and then stepped down from his ride at Kaulig Racing, is happy to have found his next home in the racing world and is excited to grow as a person and driver in 2027 and beyond.
“I am excited to have found a home here with Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport for the near future,” said Dye. “I am grateful for this group and for them giving me the opportunity to drive one of their Chevrolets on a regular basis.
Dye continued, “I feel like there is so much that I want to prove as a driver and show that I belong at this level each week. I think Jordan and everyone at the team have very similar goals to mine. They’ve been steadily climbing the ladder year after year, and I’m proud that I have the chance to be a part of this team’s growth.”
Dye, a native of DeLand, FL, has scored 10 top-10 finishes through 48 career starts in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. However, Dye is still getting his feet wet at the NASCAR National Series level. That promising talent, coupled with the first multi-year contract in Jordan Anderson Racing history, has team president Jordan Anderson excited.
“When we first began putting the four-race program together, our focus was on making the most of those opportunities this season,” said Anderson. “As we worked through the process and spent more time together, the relationship came together naturally. The importance we both place on faith and family gave us confidence that this could become a lasting partnership, and before we ever got to the first race, we knew we wanted Daniel to be part of the team’s future.

It allows us to plan beyond one season, make deliberate investments in the people, tools, and resources around the No. 32 program, and continue growing together with a clear direction. Collectively, Dye has made 102 starts in the NASCAR National Series ranks, including his first three NASCAR Cup Series starts earlier this season. Dye has two top-five finishes and 21 top-10s in those 102 starts.
