Gavan Boschele, an 18-year-old up-and-coming racer, will have an incredible opportunity, beginning this weekend at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. The Mooresville, NC, native will slide behind the wheel of the No. 1 TRICON Garage Toyota Tundra for his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut, the first race of a multi-race opportunity with the team.

TRICON Garage made the announcement of Boschele joining the team via a social media graphic on Monday.

While Monday’s announcement from TRICON Garage didn’t reveal the full slate of races that Boschele will compete in, Boschele’s official website has a slew of NASCAR Truck Series races listed on his official racing schedule.

In addition to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, Boschele is expected to compete in the events at Richmond Raceway (August 14), New Hampshire Motor Speedway (August 22), Kansas Speedway (September 26), Phoenix Raceway (October 17), and Martinsville Speedway (October 30).

On his path to NASCAR, Boschele has amassed victories in the ranks of sprint car, late model, and super late model.

In the asphalt world, Boschele is a race-winner in the ASA STARS National Tour and ASA Southern Super Series. He also has two wins in the World Series of Asphalt Racing, driving a Super Late Model, and he’s a three-time NASCAR Weekly Racing Series race winner.

Additionally, Boschele picked up major wins in the Clyde Hart Memorial and Orange Blossom 100.

In the sprint car world, Boschele is a seven-time race winner in the United Sprint Car Series, a five-time winner in the United Sprint Car Series Thunder Tour, and a six-time winner in the United Sprint Car Series Mid South Shootout.

Boschele has also captured victory in the POWRi National Midget League, POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro League, NOW600 National Micro Series Stock Non-Wing Division, and the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series.
