Video: Truex Crashes Into Outside Wall After Contact with Keselowski

Martin Truex Jr. had such a good race going, as he was sitting second at the end of Stage 2 in Sunday’s USA Today 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. However, a botched pit stop in the Stage Break ahead of the final Stage of the race mired Truex back in the pack.

And as Truex was attempting to knife his way back through the field, he found trouble on Lap 210. As Truex came up on a gaggle of cars, he found himself in a four-wide situation with Chase Briscoe, Brad Keselowski, and Austin Dillon.

As Truex gassed it up to try to take all three positions away, he collided with the right front corner of Keselowski’s No. 6 car, which sent Truex spinning into the outside wall. While it looked like a racing deal, Truex was not a fan of how he was raced by Keselowski.

“6 can’t hold a fucking line,” Truex seethed to his team on the radio, and then complained that he had just passed Keselowski cleanly before the situation unfolded on Lap 210.

Truex weas able to remain on the lead lap, and will restart in 29th with 87 laps to go. However, weather is in the area, and could end the race early. We’ll have to see how far through the field Truex can climb before the rain hits.
