PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS! On Lap 91 of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at Texas Motor Speedway, Josh Berry saw his championship hopes go on ice.
Trevor Bayne got loose in the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing entry underneath Berry, the two made contact, which sent Berry into the outside wall. Bayne would go spinning to the inside, and another championship contender Austin Hill would have nowhere to go as he collided with Bayne.
Somehow, Parker Kligerman, who was right in the middle of it all, avoided the crash completely.
