Corey Heim and Sam Hunt Racing have landed a primary sponsorship partner for three NASCAR Xfinity Series races this season. GEARWRENCH will serve as the primary for the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra beginning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 2nd.
The black and orange colors will return at Phoenix Raceway on March 9, and Richmond Raceway on March 30.
Back on January 10, Sam Hunt Racing announced the addition of Heim, but at the time had only announced that he would drive in the event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The team at the time stated that the additional races on Heim’s schedule would be set at a later date.
Now, we have a total of three of Heim’s 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series races that have been revealed.
Heim, 21, competed in four NASCAR Xfinity Series events for Sam Hunt Racing in 2023, and he scored a best finish of 10th, which came at Darlington Raceway in the spring. In the two races where Heim’s car didn’t suffer a mechanical failure, the Georgia native scored top-15s.
In addition to his part-time NASCAR Xfinity Series role with Sam Hunt Racing, and his role as the reserve driver for LEGACY MOTOR CLUB and 23XI Racing, Heim has reprised his role as the full-time driver for TRICON Garage’s No. 11 Toyota Tundra for the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.
