In a video posted by Tommy Joe Martins to twitter on Sunday, the 32-year old driver revealed that he will not be returning to MBM Motorsports in 2020 and is on the hunt for a new ride.

Martins has become a cult icon for those who appreciate and follow the underdog drivers of the sport.

In 2019, Martins ran a total of 18 NASCAR Xfinity Series races (nine for BJ McLeod Motorsports and nine for MBM Motorsports).

Martins had a best finish of 17th which came at Phoenix in the fall.
