Josh Bilicki will get the chance at a full-time ride in the NASCAR National Series ranks in 2026, as he’ll move into the driver’s seat of the No. 07 Chevrolet for SS-GreenLight Racing in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. Bilicki had driven part-time for DGM Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing over the last few seasons.

Bilicki, who broke into the NASCAR National Series by way of his supreme road racing skill and has been rounding himself into an all-around racer the last few seasons, is excited for the opportunity and sees a lot of potential with his new race team.

“I’m really grateful for the opportunity to drive for SS Greenlight Racing full-time in 2026 in the newly branded NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series,” says Bilicki. “I’ve driven for SS Greenlight Racing on several occasions in the past and have seen the potential here. Having the opportunity to be at the track every weekend creates the consistency needed to move this No. 07 team forward, and I’m excited for that challenge. I’m really thankful to Bobby Dotter and the entire team for this opportunity and look forward to Daytona in a few short months!”

Bobby Dotter, who founded the SS-GreenLight team in 2001, feels he has found an excellent piece of the puzzle for his organization in 2026 with Bilicki set to drive the No. 07 machine.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Josh to SS GreenLight Racing,” said Bobby Dotter, team owner. “He brings experience, professionalism, and a drive to push our program forward. We believe Josh will be a great fit for our team culture and performance goals in 2026.”

The 30-year-old Bilicki heads into the 2026 season with 127 starts on his record in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. While he’s never driven full-time in the series, Bilicki has collected four top-10 finishes in a part-time role.

Now, as a full-time competitor, results are expected to improve as Bilicki will have a chance to be behind the wheel each and every week, and he will have a crew tailoring cars to his specific driving style and feedback.

Who knows, maybe Bilicki and the team can find themselves battling for a win at some point in the 2026 season. After all, SS-GreenLight Racing reached victory lane with Cole Custer at Auto Club Speedway in 2022. Under the SS-GreenLight Racing banner, Dotter’s team has competed in a total of 539 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series events, and the owner had a 32-race stint from 1995 to 1998 before adopting the SS-Green Light name.

In 571 starts as a team owner in the series, Dotter has scored one win, eight top-fives, and 29 top-10 finishes.
