Jeb Burton had aspirations of snagging his first-career NASCAR Xfinity Series win one Thursday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Race at Kentucky Speedway.
However, going into turn 1 on the opening lap, Burton, who started third, went for a hell of a ride. Burton’s No. 8 car went sideways and up the track. Unfortunately, Brandon Jones couldn’t avoid him and the two made massive contact.
It looked like potential fluid leaking from Noah Gragson, the leader, or excess dirt on the track is what caused the incident.
