NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion Brett Moffitt is okay, after a violent flip and impact during Wednesday’s Hot Laps at Tulsa Expo Speedway.
Moffitt – who is piloting the No. 45 NIECE Equipment / Circle B Diecast entry in this week’s Chili Bowl qualifiers — initially made a terrific safe, after losing control of his vehicle. Second later, Moffitt continued to lose control, flipping his No. 45 entry in the next corner. Moffitt was then impacted incredibly hard by Zach Morgan’s No. 14 entry, sending Moffitt for another wild ride.
Whoa… @Brett_Moffitt goes for a series of close calls before getting upside down and hit heavily in the side. Brett is OK! @cbnationals

From @Brett_Moffitt: "As bad as it looked, the damage was somewhat minimal."@cbnationals | #ChiliBowl2021

Moffitt was able to exit the car and walk away under his own power, but there is no question his car will need to be fixed before he can return to the track.
