Ty Majeski, Ben Rhodes Spin At Beginning of Stage Three at Bristol

ThorSport Racing brought a fleet of strong Ford F-150s to Bristol Motor Speedway, but two of them tangled with each other past the halfway point of Saturday night’s Weather Guard Truck Race.

At the beginning of stage three, Ty Majeski, driving the No. 98 entry for the longest-tenured Truck Series team, got loose underneath Tyler Ankrum’s No. 18 Chevrolet and spun coming out of turn two. Ben Rhodes, the defending series champion and Majeski’s teammate, was unable to avoid the spinning No. 98 and made contact with Majeski, sending both trucks into the inside wall on the backstretch.

Despite the damage suffered, Rhodes stayed on the lead lap, while Majeski stayed on the track for the following restart but then went to the garage about ten laps later with an engine issue.
