Layne Riggs just continues to pile up impressive performances during the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. On Friday, the driver collected the pole position for Saturday’s Team EJP 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Starting Lineup: Team EJP 175 at New Hampshire

This pole marks the fourth of the season for Riggs and the eighth of his 72-race NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career.

Riggs took the pole position on the strength of a 29.346-second (129.789 mph) lap time, which was a massive result. The next closest driver in the session was Kaden Honeycutt, the driver of the No. 11 TRICON Garage Toyota, who clocked in more than two-tenths of a second slower than Riggs’ pole-winning pace.

Gio Ruggiero, who paced Friday’s Truck Series practice session, will start from the third position on Saturday afternoon at the 1.058-mile track.

Connor Zilisch, who earlier this week was revealed as the future driver of the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet beginning with the 2028 NASCAR Cup season, secured the fourth-place starting spot. Zilisch is driving the No. 71 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet in this event.

Tristan McKee will start from the fifth position in his second career NASCAR Truck Series start. McKee, driving the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet, finished top-10 in his first career start a weekend ago at Richmond Raceway.

Daniel Hemric, Gavan Boschele, Gran Enfinger, Jake Garcia, and Ben Rhodes rounded out the top-10 qualifiers for Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Team EJP 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

With 41 drivers attempting to make the field and only 36 spots available in the starting lineup, five drivers failed to make the show. Luke Baldwin, Mason Massey, Derek White, DL Wilson, and Dawson Sutton were the five who did not clock into the field.

Sutton, who usually drives the No. 26 Rackley W.A.R. Chevrolet, was moved to the team’s No. 27 Chevrolet for this weekend, as the team was hoping for better chances of locking both of its trucks into the field. After Sutton suffered a brake issue and was unable to turn a lap in qualifying, Rackley W.A.R. made a post-qualifying driver change, which will allow Sutton to compete on Saturday.

Toni Breidinger, who was behind the wheel of the No. 26 Chevrolet in qualifying, will not race on Saturday as a result.
