Grant Enfinger won Stage 2 of Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, but on an ensuing restart he suffered a tire rub in a three-wide battle at the front of the pack. Under the next caution, Enfinger and crew chief Jeff Stankiewicz opted to short pit their final pit stop of the race. Enfinger would manage his fuel load flawlessly as he marched to the victory 17.516 seconds ahead of Ty Majeski, the race’s runner-up finisher.

After the race, Enfinger’s race-winning No. 9 Champion Power Equipment CR7 Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado underwent the rigors of post-race inspection, where the truck was ultimately given a passing grade. The No. 9 truck clearing post-race inspection allowed NASCAR to declare Enfinger and his team the official winners of the race.

The win is the second ever win for the CR7 Motorsports team, and it comes a race after their first-ever win, which came at Talladega Superspeedway a couple of weeks ago.

Enfinger is now a 12-time race winner in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. And while his win at Talladega locked in his advancement to the Championship 4 at Phoenix, Enfinger gained even more momentum with the win at Homestead.

Rajah Caruth’s No. 71 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado had one unsecured lug nut in post-race inspection, which will result in a monetary fine for his crew chief.

No other issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Saturday’s race are now considered official.

Majeski was the official runner-up finisher of the race ahead of Connor Mosack, Corey Heim, and Tyler Ankrum.
