Let the campaigning begin! On Monday, NASCAR officially launched the vote for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series Most Popular Driver Awards. The awards will be announced at the year-end championship banquet in Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, November 22.

The Award, which is purely decided by a fan vote, will be decided by a vote being tabulated on NASCAR.com from now until Thursday, November 21 at 11:59 PM ET. Fans are allotted up to five votes per day.

For those looking to vote for the 2024 Most Popular Driver in each of the NASCAR National Series, head to nascar.com/nascarmostpopulardriver.

Chase Elliott, the driver of the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, who won the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series championship is a six-time NASCAR Cup Series Most Popular Driver Award recipient. All six of his MPD Awards have come in the last six years.

Can someone dethrone Elliott this year? That remains to be seen, but Elliott will for sure be the overwhelming favorite to take home the award again this year.

Justin Allgaier, a four-time NASCAR Xfinity Series Most Popular Driver Award recipient, is looking for his second consecutive MPD Award this year.

There will be a new Most Popular Driver Award recipient in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this year as Hailie Deegan snatched the award in each of the last three seasons. Deegan did not compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2024, and instead moved to a NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign, which turned out to be part-time after she parted ways with the AM Racing team.

No current full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver has collected the award in the past.
