Tyler Reddick Will Drop to Rear of Xfinity Race at Pocono Due to Transmission Change

Tyler Reddick has been the most consistent driver through the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. If he is to nab another top finish in Saturday’s Pocono Green 250 at Pocono Raceway, he will have to do so after starting from the rear of the field.

Reddick’s No. 2 team had to make a transmission change on Friday. In order to start from your credited starting position you must race with the engine and transmission that you started the weekend with.

Reddick also dropped to the rear of the field for the season-opening race at Daytona after he recorded the pole position in qualifying. Unfortunately for Reddick, he had a tire going down during the qualifying session so the team changed the tire which caused him to have to go to the rear of the field. Reddick rebounded to finish ninth at Daytona, can he have similar results Saturday at Pocono?
