Anthony Alfredo to Pilot No. 5 Entry for Our Motorsports in 2024

After a year apart, Anthony Alfredo and Our Motorsports have re-joined forces for the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Alfredo will drive the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro for the team in the upcoming season.

According to a press release from the team, Alfredo will have primary sponsorship from Dude Wipes in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway, and additional partners will be announced at a later date.

“I am thrilled about the opportunity to return to Our Motorsports and drive the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro,” Alfredo said in a team press release. “Chris, Mary, Vic, and their families have been working hard to build a competitive program. We all have the will to win, and I believe in the team of people we are putting together.”

The 24-year-old Alfredo will enter his third consecutive full-time season in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition. In his first stint with the Our Motorsports team, Alfredo finished a career-best 15th in the Xfinity Series championship standings.

This past season, driving for BJ McLeod Motorsports, Alfredo scored two top-10 finishes in a campaign that resulted in a 20th-place finish in the championship standings.

After expanding to three full-time entries during the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, Our Motorsports reduced the effort to one part-time team in 2023. After a year recharging its assets, the team is ready to attack the track with the Connecticut native behind the wheel.

“We are very excited to welcome Anthony back to Our Motorsports,” said team founder Chris Our. “We have the same goals and with the experience he has, we know we can excel in 2024.”

Alfredo has made 85 starts over the course of his young NASCAR Xfinity Series career, and he has recorded three top-five finishes and 15 top-10s. Alfredo also has one pole position, which he achieved in 2022 with Our Motorsports.
