There are 36 cars on the preliminary entry list for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway, the fifth points race of 36 in the season.

While the No. 44 NY Racing team has attempted a couple of races this season, and other open teams such as Beard Motorsports, and the No. 84 LEGACY MOTOR CLUB entry attempted the Daytona 500, no open entries will be featured on the entry list this weekend.

Last week’s race winner, Christopher Bell is set to return in the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry XSE with primary sponsorship from DeWalt Tools. The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner has two top-five finishes and three top-10s in five career starts on the concrete Bristol Motor Speedway layout.

This race marks the return of the traditional spring day race at Bristol Motor Speedway as the dirt race project was scrapped heading into the 2024 season.

The notable entries for this weekend’s race include Kaz Grala in the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing entry, and AJ Allmendinger in the No. 16 Kaulig Racing entry. Grala will have sponsorship from N29 Capital Partners while Allmendinger will carry sponsorship from Mountain Dew / Cheetos.
