UPDATE: Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1:45 PM ET
It is now official. Zeigler Auto Group will serve as a primary sponsorship partner of Carson Hocevar and the No. 77 Spire Motorsports team during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
The company confirmed the news in a press conference at the Zeigler Motorsports campus in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Monday afternoon.
“Today is another big day in the history of our organization,” Aaron Zeigler stated. “We have been involved in NASCAR for the last four years, and this year, we were looking for a team and a driver that has the same burning desire to win that we do as an organization. In 2024, we’re going to be one of the primary sponsors for the No. 77 Spire team.”
Zeigler Auto Group will serve as the co-primary sponsor of the No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the season-opening Daytona 500, and then the company will be the primary sponsor in eight additional events in 2024.
Michigan, Chicago, Indianapolis, Talladega, Charlotte, Nashville, Gateway, and Homestead were the tracks mentioned by Aaron Zeigler as primary sponsorship events for Zeigler Auto Group in 2024.

Zeigler Auto Group is expected to be announced as a primary sponsorship partner for Carson Hocevar and the No. 77 Spire Motorsports team for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. The announcement should come in a Monday live stream from the Zeigler Racing account on Facebook at 1:00 PM ET.
The thumbnail for the live stream features what should be the official announcement graphic, which has a photo of Hocevar and a yellow and black No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

The photo of Hocevar and the car are slightly obstructed by a “Live Stream” graphic, but poking through the top of the overlay graphic is the Zeigler Auto Group logo, the Spire Motorsports logo and Hocevar’s logo.
According to a source, who spoke to TobyChristie.com under the condition of anonymity, Zeigler is expected to be an eight-race primary sponsor for Hocevar in 2024.
Zeigler Auto Group has been a primary sponsorship partner in the NASCAR Cup Series for Josh Bilicki over the last three seasons.
In 2021, the company made its primary sponsorship debut at Michigan International Speedway with Rick Ware Racing. Zeigler returned for a 13-race NASCAR Cup Series schedule in 2022 at Spire Motorsports. And in 2023, Zeigler Auto Group was a 10-race primary sponsor for Live Fast Motorsports.
Hocevar, 20, had a breakout season in 2023. The young racer scored the first four victories of his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career, and Hocevar was one of the four drivers who battled for the championship in the NASCAR Truck Series at Phoenix Raceway.
The Michigan native also scored two top-10 finishes in five NASCAR Xfinity Series starts this past season, but he really impressed in a nine-race stint in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Corey LaJoie filled in for the suspended Chase Elliott at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway, which allowed Hocevar to make his NASCAR Cup Series debut in the No. 7 Spire Motorsports entry. In that event, Hocevar was solidly running inside the top-15, when a brake rotor exploded on Lap 92.
While it ended in a 36th-place finish, Hocevar showed what he was capable of.
When Noah Gragson and LEGACY MOTOR CLUB parted ways late in the season, Hocevar got the call to fill in for eight events in the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro.
Hocevar snagged four consecutive top-20 finishes to start his tenure at LMC, and he ended the 2023 season with a 19th-place effort at Phoenix Raceway.
On October 10th, Spire Motorsports announced that the team was elevating Hocevar to the Cup Series full-time in 2024 as he was named as the driver of the No. 77 Spire Motorsports entry.
