Video: Garrett Smithley Spins Out, Causes Two Rick Ware Racing Teammates to Crash

Oh man, let’s hope Rick Ware was not watching Saturday night’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway. With 21 laps to go, a trio of Rick Ware Racing cars, led by Garrett Smithley, had just gotten lapped by Kyle Busch.

Going into turns 3 and 4, Smithley got loose and spun around. This caused his teammates Cody Ware and Joey Gase to slam into each other. In an instant, three of the four RWR cars were damaged.

That’s an expensive lap around Daytona for Rick Ware Racing.
