Daniel Suárez will remain at Trackhouse Racing for years to come as the 31-year-old racer has reached a multiyear extension with the race team to remain the driver of the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro.

Suárez, Trackhouse Racing’s first hired driver, has helped the organization set a tone since 2021.

“Obviously, everyone at Trackhouse Racing is pleased with the performance and professionalism of Daniel both on and off the track,” said team owner Justin Marks. “Culture has been of prime importance since the idea of Trackhouse existed only on a whiteboard in an office. Daniel has fulfilled every expectation and we look forward to the future. The best is yet to come.”

While the deal is listed as multiyear in the announcement, no specific details or years were revealed in the press release.

Suárez is excited to keep building at Trackhouse.

“Trackhouse is my home and I am very happy with this announcement,” said Suárez who begins his third season with Trackhouse and seventh in the Cup Series. “We are building something special on the No. 99 team and at Trackhouse Racing. We can’t wait to get the season started Sunday.”

In 2022, the Monterrey, Mexico native scored his first-career NASCAR Cup Series win, which came at Sonoma Raceway. Suárez also competed in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs for the first time in his six-year Cup Series career.

At the end of the season, Suárez had racked up six top-five finishes, 13 top-10s and was ranked 10th in the year-end championship standings — all of which were career-bests for the racer.

Trackhouse had both of its cars make it into the Playoffs in 2022, as Ross Chastain finished runner-up in the championship battle in the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro.
