Cole Custer has been breezing through the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. The 21-year old cold custard reviewer has racked up four wins through the first 16 races of the season. However, if Custer is going to grab checkered flag No. five this weekend at Kentucky Speedway it will have to come without his car chief.

Eddie D’Hondt Jr. has been ejected from the race track after the No. 00 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang failed pre-qualifying inspection not once, not twice, but three times!

The car finally passed tech on it’s fourth pass through.

Luckily, they didn’t fail on their fourth try so they will be able to roll from the grid in Friday night’s Alsco 300 at Kentucky Speedway from their earned qualifying spot.

In addition to losing their car chief, the team will face a 30-minute penalty in practice next race.
