Busch Light Replaces Logo With ‘HARVICK’ For Kevin Harvick’s Last Race

You have to credit Busch Light. The popular beer brand has really gone all out in its time as Kevin Harvick’s primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series. The brand is doing one final awesome send-off for the racing legend, who will hang up his helmet at the end of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway.

Harvick’s Stewart-Haas Racing No. 4 Ford Mustang will carry the familiar Busch Light paint scheme on it, but in place of the Busch Light logos on the quarter panels and hood of the car, will be Harvick’s last name.

Stewart-Haas Racing and Busch Light revealed Harvick’s paint scheme on Wednesday morning:

It’s a truly cool tribute to the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion.

Now, the question becomes can Harvick take the car with his name boldly displayed on it to victory lane? While he’s not one of the four NASCAR Cup Series championship contenders this weekend, it is a very real possibility.

Harvick, over the course of his career, has owned Phoenix Raceway as he has amassed an astonishing nine victories to go along with 20 top-five finishes and 30 top-10s. The 47-year-old racer has a career average finish of 8.6 at the 1-mile oval in Avondale, Arizona.

While the focus will be on the Championship 4 contenders this weekend, and rightfully so, Harvick will serve as a very intriguing side story as the race unfolds.

If Harvick could score one last win before his career comes to a conclusion, it would be an incredible story.
