The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season is coming together for Live Fast Motorsports. On Tuesday, the team announced an extension and expansion of their partnership with primary sponsor B’laster.

The brand, which was plastered on the No. 78 car in five NASCAR Cup Series events in 2022, will see an increase to nine races as the primary sponsor in the upcoming season. B’laster will also serve as the Official Performance Chemical of Live Fast Motorsports in 2023.

B’laster saw great success in being a primary sponsor for Live Fast a season ago, and is excited to elevate things with more races this year.

“We had a great first-year partnership with Team Live Fast,” said B’laster President & CEO, Randy Pindor in a press release. “We knew we wanted to expand and are stoked to announce nine races this season. We know Live Fast will give their all and we can’t wait to see BJ in a Camaro this year.”

As was the case last year, BJ McLeod will pilot the No. 78 entry in the races where B’laster is on the hood of the race car. The nine-race primary sponsorship schedule for the Cleveland, Ohio-based company will begin at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 19th.

Here is the full 2023 primary sponsorship schedule for B’laster with Live Fast

  • Atlanta Motor Speedway (March 19)
  • Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt (April 9)
  • Talladega Superspeedway (April 23)
  • Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 28)
  • Atlanta Motor Speedway (July 9)
  • Pocono Raceway (July 23)
  • Daytona International Speedway (August 26)
  • Texas Motor Speedway (September 24)
  • Talladega Superspeedway (October 1)

Live Fast Motorsports is owned by McLeod and Matt Tifft. For Tifft, who hails from Hinckley, Ohio, partnering with a brand near and dear to his stomping grounds brings him joy.

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with B’laster for a second year,” said Tifft. “Working with B’laster’s team as well as using their products has been incredible. We look forward to seeing this relationship grow throughout the next season and making the Rust Belt Warriors proud!”

In five races on the No. 78 machine in 2022, B’laster saw a best finish of 23rd, which came at Michigan International Speedway. In the offseason, Live Fast Motorsports announced a manufacturer transition from Ford to Chevrolet and the team will have support from ECR Engines in 2023.

There is hope that the No. 78 team can find more speed within the Chevrolet camp this season.

In addition to McLeod, who will pilot the car in the B’laster events, the team also announced Josh Bilicki as a driver for their organization in at least four races in 2023 with Zeigler Auto Group as the sponsor for that effort.
