After a thrilling near-win in the season opener at Daytona, Cory Roper and Roper Racing have plenty to smile about heading into the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season.

To add to an already accomplished week, Carquest Auto Parts, a nationwide auto parts retailer, will return to the hood of Ropers No. 04 F-150 for the 2021 season as a team partner.

“We are very excited to have Carquest back on board with our team this season,” said Roper in a media release. “We have built a strong relationship with Carquest after they partnered with us last season. NASCAR is all about building business relationships with companies and connecting them with our companies doing business in the sport. We are thankful to continue our partnership with them this season and look to grow our race team with their support.”

Roper, 43, made twelve starts in 2020 in a part-time effort, with Carquest as the primary sponsor for ten of those races, finishing a best of 17th at Texas with the partner.

“Cory and his family share our brand’s incredible passion for auto racing and are also business owners, so this partnership is a great fit for Carquest and our family of independently-owned stores,” said Junior Word, Division President, Carquest North America. “On behalf of our entire team, we look forward to supporting Cory and Roper Racing as they compete in the Truck Series in 2021.”

Fans can see Roper try again at a Daytona win in this Friday’s Brakebest Brake Pads 150 at Daytona presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts. Coverage begins Friday, February 19th at 7:30 PM EST on FOX Sports 1 and the FOX Sports App.
