Connor Mosack Inks Five-Race Truck Deal with Spire Motorsports

After spending much of last season competing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Connor Mosack has switched his focus to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, joining forces with Spire Motorsports for a five-race campaign in the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado.

The Charlotte, North Carolina native will make his first start with the race-winning organization in the Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway on May 4, before returning to the entry at Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 24), Pocono Raceway (July 12), Kansas Speedway (September 27), and Homestead-Miami Speedway (October 26).

Pinnacle Racing Group will be represented on the hood of the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado at the mile-and-a-half Kansas Speedway, while Chevrolet Accessories will be showcased on the track’s upper quarter panels. The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation will appear on the lower rear quarter panels.

“I’m really excited to run these handful of races with Spire this year,” said Mosack. “The 7 team has been really strong and the tracks we’re going to are some of my favorites. Thank you to Spire, Chevrolet, and PRG for giving me the opportunity.”

For Mosack, the five-race deal with Spire Motorsports is an addition to an already busy racing schedule, which includes showings in the TransAm TA2 division, CARS Late Model Tour, ARCA Menards Series, and a three-race slate with Niece Motorsports in the NASCAR Truck Series.

Last season, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, Mosack collected his first victory in the ARCA Menards Series at Kansas Speedway, part of a six-race campaign in which he carried an impressive average finish of 3.5. In 24 Xfinity Series starts, Mosack recorded a career-best fifth-place run at Watkins Glen and an eighth-place finish at Portland.

“Connor Mosack has proven he has the chops to compete at this level, so we’re eager to see him take the wheel of Spire Motorsports’ No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado,” said Spire Motorsports president Doug Duchardt. “Connor has put in the work and has excelled at practically every level. He’s a versatile racer and a proven winner. We think he’s a great addition to our driver lineup.”

Mosack joins a jam-packed driver lineup for the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet this season, including Kyle Busch, Sammy Smith, Corey LaJoie, and Connor Zilisch. Mosack’s five-race slate matches that of Busch, the driver confirmed to take on the biggest portion of the schedule, thus far.
