Corey Heim was dominant in victory Saturday night in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway. After leading a race-high 79 laps, Heim crossed the finish line more than a second ahead of Zane Smith, who attempted to make a final lap charge to catch Heim to no avail.

Following the race, Heim’s race-winning No. 11 Safelite TRICON Garage Toyota Tundra was subjected to post-race inspection, where the truck was given a passing grade. As a result, NASCAR declared Heim and his team the official winners of the race.

This is Heim’s second victory of the 2024 NASCAR Truck Series season, and it is the seventh win of Heim’s young NASCAR Truck Series career.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Saturday night’s race are now considered official.

Zane Smith was officially credited with a runner-up finish in the McAnally-Hilgemann Racing No. 91 Chevrolet Silverado, ahead of his teammate Christian Eckes, who finished third. Kaden Honeycutt capped off an impressive night by finishing fourth, and Brett Moffitt came home fifth in his return race to the truck series in the No. 1 TRICON Garage entry.

Nick Sanchez rallied from the rear of the field to finish sixth and he was followed by Tanner Gray, Dean Thompson, Daniel Dye, and Matt Crafton inside the top-10.
