Video: Ty Majeski Cuts Tire on Lap 2, Goes Into Outside Wall at Kansas

Wow, massive drama for one of the favorites to win Saturday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway. Ty Majeski, who was fastest in practice and started from the second position, had a left front tire on his No. 98 ThorSport Racing machine cut down on Lap 2.

The tire going down sent Majeski, who was in the middle of a wild pack full of four, and five-wide racing, into the outside wall in Turn 1.

The caution would come out for the incident, and Majeski would bring his Ford F-150 to the pits, where he would receive attention from his pit crew. After some repairs, Majeski returned to the race three laps down.

Majeski would later slap the wall again after re-entering the race, and now finds himself seven laps down at Lap 18.
