John Hunter Nemechek has had one heck of a start to the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and if all goes to plan, he’ll score his second victory of the year on the dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night.

However, Nemechek’s wife Taylor is expected to give birth to their first child at anytime. If Taylor goes into labor, Nemechek will leave the track and NASCAR Cup Series driver Christopher Bell will step into the No. 4 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota Tundra.

KBM posted pictures to Twitter on Friday of Bell getting comfortable in Nemechek’s truck:

Nemechek has scored a win, three top-five finishes and four top-10s through the season’s first four races. Nemechek has an impressive 3.5-average finish and sits atop the NCWTS driver point standings. If Nemechek were to miss the race, he would need a waiver from NASCAR in order to make the Playoffs.

If you’re going to need a Truck Series replacement, and especially one at a dirt track, Bell is the right guy for the job.

Bell is the 2017 Series champion, and he has seven wins in his career in the Truck Series, including one on the dirt of Eldora in 2015. Bell is a renowned dirt racer, who has scored many big-time dirt victories including three times in the prestigious Chili Bowl Nationals.

Bell also scored his first-career NASCAR Cup Series season earlier this year at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course.
