Josh Berry went for a spin on the restart going into Stage 3 of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race, which triggered a seven car crash.

It was looking like another perfect day for JR Motorsports, who have absolutely dominated the NASCAR Xfinity Series over the last three races and two stages into Saturday’s SRS Distribution 250 at Texas Motor Speedway.

However, on the start to Stage 3, Josh Berry, who won Stage 2, went for a spin on the restart. This spin by Berry caused his teammate Noah Gragson, Ty Gibbs, Matt Mills, Josh Williams and more to get involved in a multi-car melee.

Here is video of the crash as it happened on lap 89:

And here is a replay of the craziness:

Berry would take a massive hit from behind from Mills at the end of the crash.

While it looks like Gragson and Berry won’t be battling for a win, now, JR Motorsports does still have race leader Justin Allgaier, William Byron and Sam Mayer left in the running for the win.

Those involved in the crash were: Bayley Currey, Matt Mills, Josh Berry, Noah Gragson, Brandon Jones, Ty Gibbs and Josh Williams.
