Video: Chase Purdy, Hailie Deegan Involved in Five-Truck Crash at Darlington

Chase Purdy, Hailie Deegan and a slew of trucks were involved in a five-truck incident at Darlington Raceway.

Well, that’s less than ideal. On lap 99 of Friday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Dead on Tools 200 at Darlington Raceway, five trucks went for a ride.

Tanner Gray slowed in front of Austin Wayne Self, who attempted to get around. As he did, the two made contact.

Self then made contact with Chase Purdy, which sent Purdy spinning around in turn 3, Tanner Gray, Hailie Deegan and Kris Wright were collected in the incident.

Purdy, who went driver’s side first into the outside wall, was able to climb from his No. 61 Hattori Racing Enterprises machine.
