Sunday’s race, the 23rd of 36 races during the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season, will be broken up into three Stages. Stage 1 will end on Lap 45, Stage 2 will end on Lap 120, and the race is scheduled to conclude at the end of Lap 200. Overtime is always a possibility if a caution happens late in the event before the white flag is displayed.

How are points scored? Each Stage will payout points in a 10-to-1 format, where the Stage winner receives 10 Stage points, and 10th place receives one Stage points. The Stage winner will also receive a Playoff Point, which carries through every round of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

The overall race winner will receive 40 points, while second place will receive 35. Every position beyond second will decrease by one point down to 36th. Every position behind 36th will also receive one point. The race winner will also receive five Playoff Points.

As far as the NASCAR TV coverage for the day, the action will get kicked off on FS1 at 12:30 PM ET with NASCAR RaceDay, FOX’s pre-race show.

At 2:00 PM ET, USA Network will take over for the official pre-race show for the FireKeepers Casino 400, and at 2:30 PM ET USA Network will carry the race broadcast.
