Video: Justin Allgaier Cuts Tire, Crashes From Lead with Five Laps Left at Phoenix

Heartbreak, absolute heartbreak for Justin Allgaier. The driver of the No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro looked like he had Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Call811.com Every Dig. Every Time. 200 at Phoenix Raceway won.

He had the lead by a couple of seconds over Chandler Smith with five laps remaining, but heading into Turn 1 on Lap 196, it all came undone for Allgaier.

The left rear tire shredded on the No. 7 Chevrolet, and Allgaier went spinning and slammed hard into the outside wall. In an instant, he went from an obvious race-winner to being out of the race and on his way to the infield care center.

Allgaier, who usually stays calm, cool, and collected, was visibly upset as he exited his race car.
