Josh Berry scored an unexpected win in Saturday night’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco Uniforms 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Berry, who was driving in relief of Michael Annett, took his second win in his 20th NXS start of 2021.

Berry muscled past his JR Motorsports teammate Justin Allgaier for the lead with 17 laps to go and he never looked back, winning the race by just under 4.4-seconds.

This race was the first of the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs Round of 12. Three Playoff drivers ended the event on the tow truck hook. Riley Herbst, Jeb Burton and Jeremy Clements all failed to make it to the finish of the race.
