NASCAR has concluded it’s third test session of their NextGen race car. This time, the test was at Homestead-Miami Speedway with Erik Jones behind the wheel.
The sanctioning body released an in-car video of some of the action, and it’s our first taste of seeing the new sequential six-speed transmission actually being used. While we never see the car go into sixth gear, we do get to see fifth gear for the first time.
