Video: Playoff Contenders Zane Smith, Chandler Smith Among 21 Drivers Involved in Big Crash at Talladega

The day has come to a screeching halt for NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Playoff contender Zane Smith, who went hard into the outside wall after contact with Austin Hill with 37 laps remaining in Saturday’s Chevrolet Silverado 250 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Chandler Smith, another championship contender was also involved in the massive crash.

21 trucks were involved in this crash. The drivers involved were:

Kris Wright, Cory Roper, Hailie Deegan, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Clay Greenfield, Tate Fogleman, Johnny Sauter, Tanner Gray, Austin Hill, Chandler Smith, Derek Kraus, Zane Smith, Austin Wayne Self, Willie Allen, Tyler Ankrum, Jason White, Dylan Lupton, Todd Gilliland, Lawless Alan, Drew Dollar and Parker Kligerman.

The crash, which involved more than half of the 40-truck field, brought out the red flag.
