Video: Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter Both Suffer Engine Issues at the Same Time

Two more championship contenders have fallen by the wayside Friday night in Las Vegas. Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter both had massive fires erupt under the hood of their ThorSport Ford F-150s at the same time in Stage 2.

Turns out, Crafton says he saw Sauter — who was running just ahead of him — hit debris. The same debris then hit his No. 88 truck as well and caused both motor issues.

Their ThorSport teammate Grant Enfinger exited the race earlier in the evening with a blown engine as well, and Stewart Friesen appears to be down a cylinder as well.
