On Friday night, Corey Heim was in the right place at the right time. He was in the runner-up position heading into the final lap when the leader Ty Majeski ran out of gas ahead of him. At that moment, it was in fact Heim Time.

Heim, who had the dominant truck in the race despite starting 33rd in the field, charged to the finish line to win by nearly eight seconds over Layne Riggs.

Following the win, NASCAR inspected Heim’s race-winning No. 11 TRICON Garage Safelite Toyota Tundra with a fine-toothed comb. Following post-race tech, the No. 11 machine was deemed legal. As a result, Heim and his team were officially named the winners of the Kubota Tractor 200 at Kansas Speedway.

This is officially Heim’s sixth win of the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, and it is the 22-year-old Georgia native’s 11th win and it came in his 60th career start.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Friday night’s race are now considered official.

Riggs was officially named the runner-up finisher ahead of Christian Eckes, Kaden Honeycutt, and Dawson Sutton.

The drivers that have advanced to the Round of 8 of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Playoffs are officially Corey Heim, Christian Eckes, Ty Majeski, Taylor Gray, Rajah Caruth, Grant Enfinger, Nick Sanchez, and Tyler Ankrum.

Daniel Dye (-25 points) and Ben Rhodes (-25) were the two drivers to be eliminated from championship contention on Friday night at Kansas Speedway.
