Video: Noah Gragson Makes Incredible Save During Qualifying Spin at Las Vegas

According to the pole tracker on NBCSN, it looked like Noah Gragson had a really good shot at securing the pole position for the Rhino Pro Truck Outfitters 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as he was entering turns three and four on his qualifying run.

Unfortunately, Gragson’s No. 9 car snapped loose and began to spin.

However, Gragson got to work and skillfully minimized damage. The No. 9 barely scraped the outside wall with it’s right rear quarterpanel, and Gragson was able to stop the car as it skidded toward the inside pit road wall.

Gragson will start from the rear of the field on Saturday, instead of rolling from the front row at his hometown track. But the fact that he’ll be doing so in his primary race car is an incredible achievement.
