Jesse Iwuji lost control on lap 171 and spun right in front of Ryan Vargas, Stefan Parsons and Landon Cassill. Screengrab from FS1 broadcast.

Jesse Iwuji had a couple of close calls this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but up until lap 171, he had avoided any damage on his No. 34 Jesse Iwuji Motorsports machine.

However, that all changed when Iwuji lost control in turn 4. As Iwuji went around, Ryan Vargas, Stefan Parsons and Landon Cassill had absolutely nowhere to go and piled in for a very hard crash.

Here is video of the hard impact from FS1:

After climbing from his car, Vargas was very visibly upset.

Iwuji, Vargas and Parsons were done for the day after the incident. Cassill, who spun to avoid the crash, was able to rejoin the race.
