Video: Contact in Turn 4 Triggers 19-Car Pileup at Sonoma

… and everybody thought the brand-new inside wall in Turn 11 would be the problem at Sonoma.

The initial contact from the accident was made between Chandler Smith (No. 81) and Jeb Burton (No. 27) back around the tail-end of the top-10. Then, from that point on, Turn 3 at Sonoma Raceway became a parking lot.

Once the cars clogged the racetrack, there was no hope for several drivers behind him, as most sustained pretty minor damage, whereas a select few took the brunt of the impact.
