DGM Racing and Alex Labbe, the driver of the No. 36 NASCAR Xfinity Series Chevrolet Camaro, will welcome a new primary sponsor for the upcoming Kansas Speedway race weekend in EverestCoin. EverestCoin, according to a team release, is not your typical crypto, as the coin also has a Play to Earn game as well as a lottery raffle, which rewards users with $1,000 each week.

Whether it be Dogecoin, Voyager, BabyDoge, SEED, MiniDoge, Military.Finance, or now EverestCoin, 2021 has been a very busy year for cryptocurrency sponsorships in NASCAR. Labbe, 28, is excited to finally jump into the mix of drivers who have partnered with crypto coins this year.

“There’s been a lot of talk about cryptocurrencies this year,” said Alex Labbe. “I’m excited to have EverestCoin on the hood of my car! Mount Everest has always intrigued me not only with its height but the feat that people take every year to climb it. It’s pretty cool that EverestCoin has a game where people can earn rewards for scaling it virtually. This sponsorship is going to be fun!”

Through 28 starts in 2021, Labbe, a native of Canada, has recorded two top-10 finishes and he sits 20th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series driver championship standings. Labbe’s best finish this season is 10th, which he achieved at both races this year at Darlington Raceway.

Labbe’s career-best finish in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition is a fourth-place effort at last year’s event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to the Roval again this weekend, perhaps Labbe can match or best that previous career-best finish this time around.

Look out for the Alex Labbe EverestCoin black and gold No. 36 Chevrolet Camaro at Kansas Speedway in the Kansas Lottery 300 on Saturday, October 23rd. The race will begin at 3:00 PM ET and will be televised on NBC.
